We have no limit on luggage allowance, so you can pack that extra outfit you’ve been dying to wear!

There are plenty of luggage areas throughout our trains. You can keep your luggage next to you, under your seat, in our overhead racks, or the luggage racks next to the carriage doors if it's available.

Plug sockets and free Wi-Fi

Get comfortable and plug in! Find accessible electrical sockets and USB ports under your seat, so you can keep your devices charged and the entertainment flowing throughout your journey.

Accessible

Travelling in a wheelchair? Don’t worry, our friendly staff will be on hand to provide you with full assistance.

At Stansted Airport, it’s just a two-minute walk from the arrival hall to the train station, with lifts, ramps, and escalators available along the way to make it as easy as possible, even if you’ve got lots of luggage.

Travelling with Small children and infants

Foldable pushchairs are welcome on board, you can fold these easily away safely under seat, in the overhead storage or other storage areas. Pushchairs aren't allowed in the wheelchair area as we have to keep them clear for wheelchair users legally.

Our accessible toilets on board include a folded baby changing unit and are a private area if you want to use them for breastfeeding. Our stations also have accessible toilets and baby changing facilities too, just ask a member of staff to point you in the right direction.

No complicated station connections

We’ve made it as simple as possible to get you and your bags to where they need to be.

Stansted Express platforms at London Liverpool Street and Tottenham Hale are easy to access, so you don’t have to worry about carrying your bags up flights of stairs as you rush to make another connection during your journey to and from the airport.

Taking your bike on the train

You can bring a folding bike on board, as long as it is fully folded. Unfortunately, we don’t allow any other bikes on any of our services.

From 1 June, Stansted Express and several other train companies in the UK will no longer allow e-scooters on trains.
