It's easy to check when there are alterations to our regular train service. Please check the date you want to travel using the calendar.

Sat 11 Jan 2025

11 - 12 January: No train service to/from Stratford and Tottenham Hale

Due to planned maintenance work, we will not be running any service to/from Stratford or Tottenham Hale. Please allow additional time for your journey.

Travelling to from/Stratford
You will need to travel via London Liverpool Street. Tickets will be accepted for use on TfL Central Line services between Liverpool Street and Stratford. 

Travelling to/from Tottenham Hale
Trains will be diverted to stop at Seven Sisters Station instead.

19 January: No trains to/from Stratford

Due to planned maintenance work, we will not be running any service to/from Stratford. You will need to travel via London Liverpool Street. Tickets will be accepted for use on TfL Central Line services between Liverpool Street and Stratford.

20 - 23 January: Late evening diversion to 23:30 and 23:45 Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street trains

Due to planned maintenance, on the evenings of Monday 20th to Thursday 23rd January 2025, the 23:30 and 23:45 Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street trains will no longer stop at Seven Sisters Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Tottenham Hale Station.

Please check train times and allow additional time for your journey.

25 - 26 January: No train service to/from Stratford

Due to planned maintenance work, we will not be running any service to/from Stratford. You will need to travel via London Liverpool Street. Tickets will be accepted for use on TfL Central Line services between Liverpool Street and Stratford.

2 February: No train service to/from Stratford

8 - 9 February: No train service to/from Stratford

16 February: No services to/from Stratford all days & some trains will not stop at Tottenham Hale in the night

Due to planned maintenance work, we will not be running any service to/from Stratford. You will need to travel via London Liverpool Street. Tickets will be accepted for use on London Underground Central Line services between Liverpool Street and Stratford. 

The 22:45, 23:00, 23:14, 23:30 and 23:45 Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street, and the 23:25 London Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport trains will no longer stop at Tottenham Hale Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Seven Sisters Station.

17 - 21 February: 04:52 Tottenham Hale to Stansted Airport Train will stop at Seven Sisters instead of Tottenham Hale

Due to planned maintenance on the mornings of Monday 17th to Friday 21st February 2025, the 04:52 Tottenham Hale to Stansted Airport train will no longer stop at Tottenham Hale Station, instead this train will be diverted to stop at Seven Sisters Station.

Please check train times and allow additional time for your journey.

17 - 20 February: Some trains will not stop at Tottenham Hale in the late evening

Due to planned maintenance, on the evenings of Monday 17th to Thursday 21st February 2025, the 22:45, 23:00, 23:14, 23:30 and 23:45 Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street, and 23:25 Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport trains will no longer stop at Tottenham Hale Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Seven Sisters Station.

22 - 23 February: Coaches replace trains between Stansted Airport and Waltham Cross

Due to planned maintenance works, there will be no direct train service between Stansted Airport and London Liverpool Street.

A replacement coach service will operate between Stansted Airport and Waltham Cross.  From Waltham Cross a train service will be in operation to Liverpool Street.

1-2 March: Coaches replace trains between Stansted Airport and Broxbourne

Due to planned maintenance works, there will be no direct train service between Stansted Airport and London Liverpool Street.

A replacement coach service will operate between Stansted Airport and Broxbourne. From Broxbourne a train service will be in operation to Liverpool Street.

3 - 6 March: Late evening diversion to 23:30 and 23:45 Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street trains

Due to planned maintenance works, on the evenings of Monday 3rd to Thursday 6th March 2025, the 2330 and 2345 Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street trains will no longer stop at Seven Sisters Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Tottenham Hale Station.

8 - 9 March: Coaches replace trains between Stansted Airport and Broxbourne

Due to planned maintenance works, there will be no direct train service between Stansted Airport and London Liverpool Street.

A replacement coach service will operate between Stansted Airport and Broxbourne. From Broxbourne a train service will be in operation to Liverpool Street.

9 March: No trains between Tottenham Hale and Stratford from 0800 until 1800

Due to planned maintenance work, we will not be running any service to/from Stratford between 0800 and 1800. You will need to travel via London Liverpool Street. Tickets will be accepted for use on TfL Central Line services between Liverpool Street and Stratford.

15 - 17 March: Coaches replace trains between Stansted Airport and Broxbourne

Due to planned maintenance works, there will be no direct train service between Stansted Airport and London Liverpool Street.

31 March - 3 April: Some trains will not stop at Tottenham Hale in the late evening

Due to planned maintenance works, on the evenings of Monday 31st March to Thursday 3rd April 20:25, the 22:45, 23:00, 23:14, 23:30 and 23:45 Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street, and 23:25 Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport trains will no longer stop at Tottenham Hale Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Seven Sisters Station.

1 - 4 April: 04:52 Tottenham Hale to Stansted Airport Train will stop at Seven Sisters instead of Tottenham Hale

Due to planned maintenance on the mornings of Tuesday 1st to Friday 4th April 2025, the 04:52 Tottenham Hale to Stansted Airport train will no longer stop at Tottenham Hale Station, instead this train will be diverted to stop at Seven Sisters Station.

6 April: Extended times & trains will stop at Seven Sisters instead of Tottenham Hale until 08:10

Due to planned maintenance, until 08:10, trains will not stop at Tottenham Hale Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Seven Sisters Station.

13 April: Extended times until 09:50

Due to planned maintenance, until 09:50, trains will be diverted via an alternative route between Tottenham Hale and Liverpool Street and have extended journey times.

Stansted Express usually runs train services on all UK bank holidays, except for 25th December (Christmas Day) when we have no service all day.
